In the field of sound research there is a very interesting opportunity proposed by the European Sound Studies Association: the Call for Papers for its first international conference Functional Sounds: Auditory Culture & Sound Concepts in Everyday Life, which will take place in Berlin in October 4-6, 2013.

Our friend Tim Prebble is unstoppable: he released the new Hiss And A Roar library called Amb003 White Water, a sound monster in 24bit, 96kHz  and composed of 7.9GB uncompressed as 55 .WAV files.
