L'Oscar "Jokerizzato" da Josh MC

Un brevissimo post per segnalare i vincitori degli 81st Academy Awards nelle categorie che ovviamente ci interessano maggiormente, ovvero il sound editing e il sound mixing.

Nomination per il sound editing:

• “The Dark Knight” (Warner Bros.), Richard King;
• “Iron Man” (Paramount and Marvel Entertainment), Frank Eulner and Christopher Boyes;
• “Slumdog Millionaire” (Fox Searchlight), Glenn Freemantle and Tom Sayers;
• “WALL-E” (Walt Disney), Ben Burtt and Matthew Wood;
• “Wanted” (Universal), Wylie Stateman.

Nomination per il sound mixing:

• “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” (Paramount and Warner Bros.), David Parker, Michael Semanick, Ren Klyce and Mark Weingarten;
• “The Dark Knight” (Warner Bros.), Lora Hirschberg, Gary Rizzo and Ed Novick;
• “Slumdog Millionaire” (Fox Searchlight), Ian Tapp, Richard Pryke and Resul Pookutty;
• “WALL-E” (Walt Disney), Tom Myers, Michael Semanick and Ben Burtt;
• “Wanted” (Universal), Chris Jenkins, Frank A. Montaño and Petr Forejt.

And the winner is…..

Richard King per il superbo lavoro eseguito su The Dark Knight (noi ovviamente tifavamo da tempo per lui) e il trio formato da Ian Tapp, Richard Pryke e Resul Pookutty per Slumdog Millionaire.

Sicuramente WALL-E e Ben Burtt ci saranno rimasti molto male. Qualcosa se la meritavano sicuramente. Ma il mondo degli oscar americani ha un debole particolare per i pipistrelli quest’anno.

A ogni modo questa bella lista di nomination rappresenta una buona occasione per riscoprire alcuni film che abbiamo dimenticato di audioascoltare durante il 2008.
